Tommy Dunne (born 19 March 1927 in Dublin, died 1988) is a former Irish footballer.

A nephew of the famed Jimmy Dunne [http://www.ireland.com/newspaper/archive/1949/1115/Pg002.html#Ar00213:56B9FC595A0E575B515A0B635D3BCF601BE751E9FC55AA0E529B51564B63589BCF5C9BE758B8AB5B78BE5D19B95FA9CC] he began his senior career with Shamrock Rovers in 1949.

In November 1949 Tommy transferred to Leicester City.
