St Margaret's School was set up as a
Church of England school by St Margaret's church. At the time of building it was the only school in Horsforth. The whole school was moved to temporary blocks on some ofHorsforth School 's fields in 2004 until a new school building was finished in 2005.After the building was completed the school - having previously been only a junior school for 7-11 year-olds - merged with St Margaret's Infants in Low Lane to create a full primary school all on one site. A nursery called Ducklings was also created, catering for pre-school children aged 3 and upwards.
