2008 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Tournament

The 2008 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Tournament will be held December 5-20, 2008 with 64 teams to determine the 2008 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball NCAA Champion.

First/Second Rounds and Regionals

"First/Second Rounds, December 5 & 6": Sites TBA, to be held at 16 participating institutions
"Regional semifinals and finals, December 12 & 13": To be hosted by the following institutions:
*Texas (Texas Longhorns)
*Penn State (Penn State Nittany Lions)
*Colorado State (CSU Rams)
*Washington (Washington Huskies)

Final Four

To be held at the Qwest Center in Omaha Nebraska, hosted by the University of Nebraska (Nebraska Cornhuskers).
"National Semifinals, December 18", Teams TBD
"National Championship, December 20", Teams TBD

For the second time in three years, the Qwest Center will host the final four. The 2006 final four was held at the arena and drew the largest championship match crowd in NCAA then-26 year history, drawing over 17,000 fans.
