Costin Petrescu is a Romanian musician (drummer),[1] born in Bucharest in 1949. He played with two Romanian rock bands of the 60s and 70s': Olimpic '64 (1961-1971) and Phoenix (1971-1974) (also known as Transsylvania Phoenix in Germany). He is a graduate of the Architecture Institute[clarification needed] (1974) and he works today as an architect in Paris. Recently he has played and composed electronic, rock, etno,[clarification needed] alternative and contemporary music, sometimes together with Mircea Florian. He is occasionally reunited with Phoenix for live performances.
