Personal life

Born and raised in Northern Hungary, Papp’s father was a mining engineer who was active in local politics. Her mother was an accountant who was also involved in the arts and ran art galleries. She has one younger sister. From an early age, Papp loved literature and read voraciously. She attended one of the two most prestigious high schools in Hungary and later graduated from the well known Corvinus University of Budapest, with an MBA and Master of Science in Economics. She defended her diploma with honors and was offered a Ph.D. An interest in international business and travel led to a job in Copenhagen, working for a computer technology company. However, Papp’s true desire was to go to New York, and two years later an Irish investor sent her there with half a million dollars to start his new company.

She was urged by friends to pursue modeling in her early 20s, though it was only a hobby, as Papp preferred business exploits to photo sessions. She was given her green card when she arrived in the United States on the basis of being considered a “National Treasure,” a status the US government extends to a select few considered an asset to the country. Her company, Atlantic United, is based in Los Angeles and New York and works with select magazines to promote celebrities and high-profile personalities. A self-proclaimed “adrenaline junky,” Papp enjoys multiple death-defying sports, such as ice climbing, rock climbing, and expeditions to remote areas, such as an upcoming two-week trek to the Arctic. Calling herself a true Runaway Bride in the past, Papp has been engaged three times, but never married as of yet.
