The Small Gentlemen were a Scottish alternative rock band formed in Paisley around 1996.The band quickly garnered considerable critical attention in the Scottish music press, and became both notorious and well-known figures on the thriving Glasgow live music scene. The notoriety stemmed principally from the unpredictable on-stage antics of the band and high-voltage nature of their live performances.Notable gigs included slots opening for Supergrass and Saint Etienne.The band also appeared on the same bill as contemporaries such as Biffy Clyro and Annie Christian.

Members

The band went through several incarnations; initially a four-piece, Stefano Cherubini left the band quite soon after their formation. The band then recorded and performed for several years as a three-piece, later being joined by Gareth 'Gaz' Mitchell on guitar.

Current Status
