The Illustrators & Matte Artists, Local 790 is a local Los Angeles union of the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees (IATSE) representing about 200 active and inactive illustrators and matte artists working in the Hollywood motion picture and television industries.

The IATSE is the labor union representing technicians, artisans and craftspersons in the entertainment industry, including live theatre, motion picture and television production, and trade shows.
