The Andrew J. O'Conor III House is a historic house in the city of Ottawa, Illinois, USA. The O'Conor House is a good example of Colonial Revival architecture. It was originally constructed in 1848 and underwent major remodeling in 1922. The house was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

History

The original house at the site was an 1848 Italianate mansion which changed hands several times before Andrew J. O'Conor III bought the house and property in 1920. The O'Conor's undertook an extensive renovation of the home in 1922, and added on another extensive portion. The result was a 6,000 square foot house surrounded by a spacious yard with a commanding view of the Fox River.Koban, Andrée-Marie A. " [http://gis.hpa.state.il.us/hargis/PDFs/201125.pdf Andrew J.
