Martin Dermott

Martin Dermott (born in Wigan, England) is a former professional rugby league footballler who was capped 12 times for the Great Britain national team. He played for English clubs Wigan and Warrington as a hooker.

During the 1991–92 Rugby Football League season, Dermott played for defending champions Wigan at hooker in their 1991 World Club Challenge victory against the visiting Penrith Panthers. He was selected to go on the 1992 Great Britain Lions tour of Australia and New Zealand. During the 1992–93 Rugby Football League season Dermott played at hooker for defending RFL champions Wigan in the 1992 World Club Challenge against the visiting Brisbane Broncos.

After the 1993–94 Rugby Football League season Dermott travelled with defending champions Wigan to Brisbane, playing at hooker in their 1994 World Club Challenge victory over Australian premiers, the Brisbane Broncos.
