Skullmelon Saturday
A tradition has emerged among the community called "Skullmelon Saturday". Every Saturday the server rules are disregarded, and chaos is allowed to overrun the server. The tradition began when admins ShadyLogic, Blake Frost, and Zach "The Pope" placed a skull on top of a watermelon one Saturday, and declared that it would be the symbol of chaos on the server. Though the tradition remains, participation has declined in recent months [ [http://disclaimerstudios.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=55 Skullmelon Saturday] "Disclaimer Studios Forums", January 27, 2008.] .
Community
DisclaimerStudios.com has formed a fairly large roleplaying community, extending over 450 members [ [http://disclaimerstudios.com/forums/ Forums] ] , making it one of the most popular Garry's Mod RP communities in the world. Unlike most roleplay servers, DisclaimerStudios.com does not require strict
in character play, instead letting the players as a whole decide what will happen in game. This has led to the creation of dance clubs, boxing arenas, and even server-wide treasure hunts. On any given day, players can be seen creating stores, building homes, and creating stories with which the community may interact.References
