Sri Venugopal ( _ta. ஸ்ரீ வேணுகோபால்) is a
Tamil language author of religious pilgrimage travelogues, who alo writes fiction under the name Pushpa Thangadorai ( _ta. புஷ்பா தங்கதுரை).His two most famous serialized novels are "En Peyar Kamala" ("My Name is Kamala") (1974-75) and "Oru Sivappu Villaku Erikirathu" ("The Red Light Is On") (1976), about life in the brothels of
Delhi andBombay . Some of his stories have also been adapted as Tamil films, for example "Oru Oothaappu Kann Simittukirathu" ("An Aster Is Winking"). [cite book
