Joe Lanham

Clifton Joseph "Joe" Lanham, Jr. (born December 28, 1981, in Bedford, Ohio), is a former American broadcaster.

Broadcasting career

Joe Lanham began his broadcasting career in 1998, when he joined the administrative staff of WTSB-FM as it first community service director, becoming the staff's youngest member at the age of 16. One year later, he was promoted to director of traffic and continuity. He also filled in for the station's weather director, Bob Long, when Long was away on vacation or remote broadcasts. He left the station in the summer of 2000.

Lanham was also an on-air personality during his two-and-a-half years at WSTB. He was known for his trademark playing of the song "The End" by The Doors at the end of each of his on-air shifts. He briefly co-hosted the popular "Joe and Strong Show" on Monday nights, and also served as co-host for the station's Friday all-request show.

Personal life

Lanham earned a bachelor's degree in political science from The Ohio State University in 2004, and is currently working towards a Master of Business Administration from Tiffin University. He currently resides in Powell, Ohio, and is married with no children. He has expressed no interest in returning to a broadcasting career.
