- Furryville
Furryville is a line of tiny little stuffed animals, ranging from cats and dogs to hippos and elephants to skunks and beavers. There are sets - a family of four animals, all of the same species -. there are doubles or "two-furs", two animals - not always the same kind -, and there are singles, such as "kangaroo court" (a tennis playing kangaroo) or scentsational groom ( a wedding skunk). The biggest are from 2.5 in. to 3 in.
The Families are named for their species, but their are also "groups" like "Family Moments", "Around the World", and "Town Collection". The Family Moments include the Catfields at teatime, The Hippomotos on the stage, and the Pigbys in the kitchen. The Around the world group includes the Furgusons of Scotland, The Pandarins, The De Los Quesos, and the Koalabees. The Town collection includes Beauty Pawlour and Mail Fur You. However, these are not all the sets.
Furryvilles came out in 2005, and were sold in stores but are now only sold online.
In 2006, Mattel came out with a new single: Nurse Quacktitioner. Thousands of nurses wrote in and complained to Mattel, to which Mattel replied that it was a duck, and ducks quack. Still, the figure was withdrawn.
Furryvilles are great!
