Munachi Gail Teresa Abii Nwankwo is a former beauty queen and singer who represented Nigeria in Miss World 2007 in China.

Early life

She was brought up by her single mother who had been crippled by polio. As a teenager, she lived in the United Kingdom with her father for a few years before gaining admission into the Benson Idahosa University in her home country to study International relations and Diplomacy.

Fame

Munachi shot to celebrity status when in 2007, she fulfilled her childhood dream by participating in the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant. Despite being only five foot seven inches, she emerged winner. The Owerri native also represented Nigeria at Miss World in China later that year.

She is currently finishing her degree, and models part-time.
