Fernandes went to high school at
Natick High School before transferring toNoble and Greenough School [The Daily Transcript 10/20/1994] inDedham ,Massachusetts . In 1995, he studied at Trinity College [The Natick Bulletin, 10/29/98] inHartford ,Ct , graduating with a degree in English.In 2000, Fernandes moved to a studio inFlatbush, Brooklyn where using a four track he created hip-hop tracks and sold them in cassette form. Soon after he purchased a guitar and started playing covers ofSimon and Garfunkel tracks. After 9/11, Fernandes could be found on the subway platforms, collaborating with fellow musician Dan Weinstein, playing covers and some originals, despite the presence of armed soldiers, protecting the trains.
One of Fernandes’ first acoustic songs was picked to be on a compilation album that was sent out with the magazine ‘Micstand’.In 2002, Fernandes moved toQueens and continued to write and record songs acoustically, temporarily halting his focus on writing hip hop songs.
In 2004, Fernandes moved toNew Jersey where he currently resides. In October, of 2006, a song “Sophia”, written for his daughter was selected for placement on a Compilation album, Quickstar Productions presents Chill out Vol 5.
