Arthur Morton (cricketer, born 1882)

"Not to be confused with Arthur Morton (cricketer, born 1883)."

Arthur Morton (March 27, 1882 — February 21, 1970) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He was born in Salford and died in Sheffield.

Morton made just one appearance for Derbyshire during the 1901 season, appearing against Warwickshire at the age of just nineteen. Morton scored ducks in both the innings in which he batted, and failed to take a wicket with the ball, in an innings defeat, following which, he was dropped from the team.

Morton was a tailend batsman.
