Warisguda or Warasiguda is one of the suburbs in Hyderabad, India.It is mainly a residential area. It is very close to Osmania University campus.

The name is of Waris (The landlord who sold the area to different parties) and GUDA for a populated place. This place comes under Chilkalguda Police Station.

It is believed that a house in this area is haunted, this might be some superstition of the people of this area but the house has not disposed for many years.

Commercial area

There are many shops which cater to all the needs of the people. It has two bakeries, MGM and Bobby. MGM Bakery is the oldest shopping establishment for this place. It has stores such Medical shops, sweet meat shops, Watch Repairs, Internet Cafes.

There is a local association called A.K Friends association famous for its Ganesh idol.

Mumtaz Hotel is a popular for its tea and Hyderabadi biryani. During Ramzan it is dotted by haleem Joints along with Kausar Masjid, the big mosque of this place.

Shola hotel lane houses a famous Pani Puri Joint. It is famous for hot pani puri unlike the normal pani puri, the puri is filled with hot daal before serving. The famous sridevi hospital is also under it.

The Dena Bank on the main road is one of the most modern banks of warasiguda it has a atm on the main road

The APSRTC buses connects Warisguda with all parts of the city. 86 Bus Route which shuttles mainly between secunderabd and koti. 107v bus shuttles between Secunderabad and Dilsukhnagar. There are minor bus routes which have different destinations.

From warasiguda to O.U distance is around 1.5km.
