The Noble/Princess Esmeralda Kapiokinaolani Marignoli dei Marchese di Montecorona (born November 3, 1954) is the eldest daughter and first child of Princess Esther Kapiolani Kawānanakoa born at Rome, Italy during her mother's marriage with Marchese Filippo Marignoli. She is a member of the House of Kawānanakoa.
Her younger brother is The Noble Prince Duccio Kaumuali'i Marignoli dei Marchese di Montecorona, and her younger sister is The Noble Princess Teresa Elelule Marignoli dei Marchese di Montecorona. The three siblings uses the title of The Noble or Marchese. They are distant relative of the House of Savoy.
She is named Kapiolani after her mother, Kapiolani Marignoli; her grandmother, Kapiolani Kawānanakoa; her great-great aunt, Queen Kapiolani; and her great-great-great-great aunt Kapiolani Nui, the Christian chiefess who defied the volcano goddess, Pele. It means "The heavenly arch", i.e. the rainbow.
