Lynsi Martinez

Lynsi Martinez

Lynsi Martinez (née Snyder), born May 5, 1982, is the owner and heiress of the In-N-Out Burger company. She is the only child of H. Guy Snyder and the only grandchild of Harry and Esther Snyder, who founded In-N-Out in 1948.

Biography

Martinez was married in early 2006, just before her grandmother Esther, President of In-N-Out Burger, passed away. Shortly after, in mid-2007, Martinez gave birth to twins (one boy, one girl). Also during 2006, Martinez and In-N-Out were embroiled in a bitter lawsuit with an ex-company executive, Rich Boyd. Boyd was fired for allegedlly misusing company funds, but claimed that Martinez, and then Vice-President (now President) Mark Taylor, were trying to oust the elderly Esther Snyder from the company. Both denied the claims and the lawsuit was settled out of court in May, 2006.

Martinez was to take ownership of her father's share of In-N-Out on her 30th birthday, but inherited the share of the company that was not already in trust for her when her grandmother Esther died. She is reportedly very shy and quiet and does not enjoy the limelight.

Martinez takes part in the In-N-Out Foundation, which raises money for underprivileged children, as well as In-N-Out's company picnics, which take place during the summer months in the various regions where the company is located. Martinez's current title at In-N-Out is Executive Director of Cultural Development, and she uses only her given name Lynsi on company documents.
