Esther Snyder

Esther Lavelle Snyder (née Johnson) (1920 in Sorento, Illinois – August 4, 2006 in Baldwin Park, California) founded "In-N-Out Burger", with her husband Harry Snyder.

They had two sons, and Esther Snyder outlived her husband and both of her sons, one of whom died in a plane crash and the other succumbed to a drug overdose.

She died on August 4, 2006, aged 86, from undisclosed causes. She is survived by her only grandchild, Lynsi Martinez (nee Snyder), who is now the heir to the In-N-Out Burger company.
