The Pere Marquette State Trail is a bicycle and multi-use trail in west-central lower Michigan, running convert|55|mi|km through Clare, Lake, and Osceola Counties. [ [http://www.trailresources.com/trail-michigan-pere-marquette-state-trail.html Pere Marquette State Trail ] ] Intersecting with the White Pine Trail in Reed City, the trail is paved in areas, particularly between Reed City and the Village of Hershey, [ [http://www.traillink.com/ViewTrail.aspx?AcctID=6016199 TrailLink :: Pere Marquette State Forest Trail ] ] with a ballast or cinder surface elsewhere. The Pere Marquett State Forest and the Hersey and Muskegon Rivers can be seen from the trailside. The Pere Marquette State Trail is open to non-motorized uses.
