Musgrove's Mill Historic Battle Site was the site of the Battle of Musgrove Mill, which took place here on 18 August 1780. The battle occurred at the Musgrove Mill on the Enoree River near Cross Anchor, South Carolina, in what is now Clinton, South Carolina.
The Revolutionary forces routed a combined party of British and Tories at a ford on the river.[cite web|url=http://www.nationalregister.sc.gov/union/S10817744014/index.htm]
