- Paul Tamanian
Paul Tamanian is an American artist born in New York and currently residing in
Tallahassee, Florida . He received a degree in interior design fromFlorida State University and went on to show his first exhibition at a small gallery inHavana, Florida in 1992. He then progressed to exhibit his works across the United States, including at the Boca Raton Museum, in Florida's Capitol building, and atFlorida A&M University . He has also been invited to show his works in the company of some of America's foremost craftsmen and artists, including William Morris,Jun Kaneko , and Richard Jolley.Tamanian uses a variety of mediums and glazes to create each piece, including traditional glazes, industrial fabric dyes, automobile paints, and odd chemicals that alter texture and/or color.
