Andrew Waterman built the main house in 1774 although the rear ell was possibly the original home of "Colonel Abraham Winsor (1720-1798). Part of the house may have been constructed as early as 1710, with an addition in 1780. The house remained in the Waterman and Winsor families until 1975.
