He was the co-founder of software houses Jester Interactive Limited and Checkmate Solutions Limited, and his recent works includeeJay music sequencers for Empire Interactive Limited.Lee's has a long history in computing, computer demos and computer games. Amiga MOD file playroutines that would feature in manyPsygnosis games of the late 80's and early 90's, usually playing his brother's (Tim) musical compositions.Spending many years working for Morgan Computing Limited, a commercial software house, he once again joined forces with his brother Tim to help form Jester Interactive Limited in 1997. It was at Jester that his audio coding skills came to the fore again, with his award winning work turning the PlayStation into a home recording studio in the form of MUSIC for PS1.
While at Jester Interactive he worked on many more incarnation of the MUSIC series, as published by
Codemasters plc. until finally departing to form Checkmate Solutions Limited, a new company, again with his brother. Checkmate would go on to produce neweJay software for Empire Interactive.References
