ZKP RTLJ

ZKP RTLJ

ZKP RTLJ (Slovenian language: Založba kaset in plošč Radio - Televizije Ljubljana) was a major record label in Ljubljana, Socialist Republic of Slovenia, during the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. It was the music production branch of the national "Radio-Television Ljubljana" which was renamed to Radio-Television Slovenia during the breakup of Yugoslavia. The company was notable for releasing some of the most important albums of the former Yugoslav and Serbian cult band Ekaterina Velika, Kerber, and the Bosnian hard rock band Vatreni Poljubac, as well as numerous records by the prominent Croatian group Atomsko sklonište. Like its bigger competitors Jugoton and PGP-RTB, ZKP RTVLJ was also an authorised publisher of foreign titles for the former Yugoslav federal market. It released numerous eminent international pop and rock stars such as: Bruce Springsteen, Depeche Mode, Blondie, Ultravox, Jethro Tull, Madness, The Jam, Electric Light Orchestra, Spandau Ballet and others.

In 1990 the name of the company was changed to ZKP RTVS.
