"Polypterus ansorgii" [Also called "P. ansorgei"] , commonly called Guinean Bichir, is a bony fish that lives off of the coast of West Africa.

Description

"P. ansorgii" is greenish-brown to black in color and has large, dark spots and blotches on its flank. On mature specimens, the bottom jaw may protrude very slightly. It is similar to some other species of fish and may be confused.
