Reniyskyi Raion

The Reniyskyi Raion ( _uk. Ренійський район) is in south-western Ukraine, in the region of Budzhak. Its administrative center is the city of Reni. The population of the district was 41,000 in 2001. According to the 2001 Ukrainian census the population was 49% Moldovan, 18% Ukrainian, 15% Russian, 8.5% Bulgarian and 8% Gagauz.
