John Richard Rooney (17 December 1990 in Liverpool, Merseyside) is an English footballer who plays as a striker for Macclesfield Town in League Two.

He made his debut against Barnet on 24 March 2008, [cite web

Personal life

Rooney was formerly on the books at Everton alongside his other brothers, one of whom is Wayne Rooney.
