Terence Dudley is an American hip hop record producer.

Biography

A proud native of Jamaica, New York makes musical history by anchoring his discipline from running the pavement, to setting his ship a-sail on the shark infested seas of the entertainment industry and navigating his way to the deepest sector of Atlantis by inserting his musical prowess in the mix of the best of the best, Andre Harrell's "Uptown Records!"

Dudley credits his diversity and solid foundation from years of exposure to various genres of music ranging from the classical greats such as Beethoven, Bach and Chopin to the broad range of Funk, Pop and soul inspiration such as Parliament, Stevie Wonder and all of Berry Gordy's Motown roster to name a few.It wasn't long after that Terence would take the reins and become a writer, composer and composition arranger himself.

Throughout his years from grade school to high school young Mr. "MoZart" became proficient at a bevy of instruments including saxophone, drums, guitar, bass, piano and anything else that would emanate a musical note. Dudley decided to take his love of music to new heights. Realizing that his vision of becoming a producer must start with picking up the pen and sitting in front of the ivory, he did just that.

His big break came when he wrote a song entitled, "Love Games" for the label's girl group "Sweet Sensation" distributed by Atco Records/Atlantic Records. Just one year later Dudley was signed as a staff producer for First Priority Music/Atlantic Records, where he produced and remixed songs for beginning artist and now Hip-Hop legend M.C. Lyte as well as Audio Two, Kings of Swing and more. Now with the taste of success, Producer Terence Dudley's pivotal musical move came when he found himself in cahoots with Sean "P Diddy" Combs, who selected Dudley's M.C. Lyte remix of "Stop, Look and Listen" as the primary sample in Mary J. Blige's Introduction hit, "Reminisce".

Gaining respect from his peers as a notable producer, Dudley was sought out by the vice president of A&R of Motown Records, Multi Platinum writer, producer, recording artist Al B. Sure!, to write and produce for artists on the historical label. Most notably, Al B's talented male quartet, "LADAE" Party 2 Nite, for Al B's Absolute/Motown Record Label.

Creating great music was inevitable when Dudley partnered with record mogul "Buttnaked" Tim Dawg to produce and remix songs for every artist on the Island Records label. Together, they developed the ability to bring a blend of the right musical/street elements and created the hit song, Tell Me (Bounce Remix) for artist, Dru Hill. His list of credits also includes Mona Lisa, The Isley Brothers, K-Ci and JoJo, The Lost Boyz and Mr. Cheeks, to name a few more....

Terrence Dudley's talent and innovative style lead him to work with the Hip-Hip Icon/ Entrepreneur "50 Cent" and produce the groundbreaking smash, "Life's on the Line". The success of this song included on the 50 Cent cd "Get Rich or Die Tryin" (which sold 874,000 units in the first week & over 12 million in sales worldwide) sparked the interest of Senior Vice President, Big Jon Platt of EMI Music Publishing and landed Dudley a co-publishing deal with the largest publishing company in the world.

Dudley has garnered tremendous success in the international market place as well. TD scored a Billboard Top 5 international hit with Eternal's "Don't You Love Me." which was also featured in a worldwide Coca-Cola commercial. Composer Terence "MoZart" Dudley currently has a song on the 50 Cent video game, "', and K-Ci (from Jodeci) titled "Much 2 Soon" featuring Al B. Sure! & Legendary Guy front man Aaron Hall, K-Ci's solo CD is titled "My Book."

TD lends his spiritual side to a collaborative effort by co-writing an International heartstring composition titled "Rather Not Hear About It" with R&B Legend Al B. Sure! which addresses the unnoticed hungry youth around the world. In addition TD has produced imaging for various national radio advertisements. The young MoZart's projects also include scoring music for T.V. and Film.

Staying true to his diverse musical background, Terence "MoZart" Dudley is poised to continue to bring an innovative flair to not only today's hip hop, R&B and the musical culture, but to the entire world.

Whether in London, New York or Los Angeles Terence "MoZart" Dudley and Quentin Entertainment, selling 40 million cds + later still gets the job done.
