Founded in 2001, by husband and wife team Jennifer fontaine and Kerem Hanci, Scorpio Rising Films remains committed to supportive collaboration with devoted and impassioned artists, encouraging original and inspired material. This independent film and television production and distribution company focuses on fostering an atmosphere of cooperative creativity in each project they undertake. Mementos also snagged a Best Actor award at the New Haven Underground Film Festival. In 2006, Scorpio Rising Films and Mark Bernier’s Jackie Frost Films joined forces to co-write and co-produce the crime thriller Glass Houses. They have since, successfully packaged the film and start principal photography in New Orleans March 2009. Their development slate includes seven more features; The Taxi Bride, Liz, LA Talking, Thunder on the Mountain, Anna, Meat Men and Stealth.
