Stephen McBride (born May 2 1964 in Lurgan, Northern Ireland) is a former Northern Irish footballer.

As a player he mesmerised defences and scored not only a lot of goals but great quality and important goals throughout his career. He was the engine behind the formidable forward line of Ferguson, McCoy and McBride and when McBride was on song the football was always entertaining and skillful.#

Managerial Career

In August 2008, he succeeded Terry Cochrane as manager of his local and former team, Glenavon.
