Billysi

Billysi is a melodic rock /pop rock music group from Slovenia.

The name Billysi came into a formal use since September 2007. Before that the band used a longer version of the name, Billy's Private Parking.

The group consists of five members:

* Sergej Pobegajlo"'–guitar
* Matic Ajdic"'–solo guitar
* Martin Rozman"'–bass guitar
* Roman Ratej"'–drums

They write and produce all of their music.

Sergej Pobegajlo is a Slovene song-writer. He worked for Hannah (USA) and for Doug Fieger (The Knack) and has received a national best-songwriter reward "Zlati petelin" in 2000 [ [http://www.hipersound.com/index.php?id=16 Hipersound Records ] ] .

Success

After their first record, "Modra pravljica" (2002), they were present on numerous national music charts with three of their songs.

BPP entered a pop-festival "Melodije morja in sonca" (2004) with a hard-rock song "Se verjamem" (I still believe) with which they got to the final of the contest.

BPP presented the song "Prezeni oblake" on a famous Slovene festival Hit Festival in November 2004 [ [http://www.hitfestival.net/finalisti.php HIT Festival 2004 ] ] and came out second, winning first place by radio juries all over Slovenia. Urska Majdic received a special award for the lyrics [ [http://www.hitfestival.net/rezultati.php HIT Festival 2004 ] ] .

They decided to take a chance on "Ema" - the Slovenia’s Eurovision song contest [http://sl.wikipedia.org/wiki/EMA_2005] . This time they were even bolder- they wrote and recorded a rock song named "Ljubljana" in only a day and got to the finals.

Their second album, "Insomnia", was released in May2005 [ [http://www.hipersound.com/index.php?id=14 Hipersound Records ] ] .

URSKA a.k.a. URSYNA
Urska wrote and performed a song with cooperation of "Blue Production Team" for a TV commercial for the Slovenian mobile operator SiMobil (Vodafone). It was a pop-house song in English "If I … (Fell In love)," which became a hit in Slovenia. Urska, who's nickname in this project was "Ursyna", got the SOF - OFF advertising reward [http://www.soz.si/projekti_soz/soz_e_mesecnik/102/] for best song on the SOF festival in Portoroz. Billysi remade the song in a rock version for their live performances.

Magia 2007

"Hello Hello"
Billysi released a single "Hello Hello" from "Magia". They premiered this song in a live TV show on National TV TVS1 [ [http://24ur.com/ekskluziv/glasba/billysi-magia.html Billysi – Magia - 24ur.com ] ] . It is the first video in the world filmed by mobile-phones during a live show on a national TV [ [http://www.rtvslo.si/zabava/modload.php?&c_mod=rnews&op=sections&func=read&c_menu=19&c_id=29024 Billysi predstavljajo nov singel ] ] . "Hello Hello" has been also used for a SiMobil mobile phones promotional action in March 2008.

MAGIA
Billysi released their third album Magia with Dallas Records in November 2007. "Magia" is more pop-rock orientated, with two songs in English.
