百万智多星 (transliteration: "Bǎi Wàn Zhì Duō Xīng", English translation: "Who deserves to be a millionaire?", sometimes called "百萬富翁") is a Chinese game show based on the original British format of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?". There are 3 "lifelines" - fifty fifty ("50:50"), phone a friend ("打電話問老友") and ask the audience ("問現場觀眾"). The game show is broadcast from 29th September 2007 to today. It is shown on the Chinese TV station GuiZhou TV (贵州电视台). When a contestant gets the fifth question correct, he will leave with at least ¥8,000. When a contestant gets the tenth question correct, he will leave with at least ¥60,000. There was one total prize winner. New episode is shown on every Saturday at 20:40 (UTC+8).
