WCRS-LP is a North American community radio station and service of Simply Living broadcasting in the Columbus, Ohio, area. It broadcasts 3PM to 8PM seven days a week. The station also airs programming from the Pacifica Radio Network. WCRS FM is a voice of Simply Living in Central Ohio to create a compassionate and sustainable world.

Mission Statement:

WCRS-LP FM is a non-commercial, listener-supported community radio station serving Central Ohioans, providing quality programming to:
•Promote personal and civic responsibility, informed action and thoughtful living;
•Challenge cultural and intellectual assumptions;
•Celebrate local cultures;
•Air alternative points of view and facilitate understanding through dialogue;
•To provide media training and to foster community empowerment and participation.
•To provide representation for under-served and under-represented constituencies and viewpoints, and to provide news and information not commonly found elsewhere on the airwaves.

WCRS lp- FM is Central Ohio's ONLY community radio station broadcasting 3pm-8pm on 102.1 and 98.3 FM in most of Franklin County. WCRS is a Pacifica Affiliate airing Democracy Now! Frees Speech Radio News and other syndicated public affairs programs in addition to locally made music, talk, and public affairs programs in English, French, Somali, and Spanish.

* June 2007 - WCRS Begins operations and returning community radio to Central Ohio
* November 29th, 2007 - WCRS first airs "Cranksters" a talk show about Columbus' bicycle culture; Levi Klau wins the first ever 'Bike of the Week Award'
* April 12, 2008 WCRS-LP hosted a fund raiser that drew 400 people.
*July 19, 2008 WCRS Volunteers organize a rock and roll benefit show and fundraiser at Ruby Tuesdays featuring over a dozen musical acts!
*August 2008. FCC approves expansion of hours from 5 daily to 13 daily!
