1986 O-Pee-Chee

This a list with brief descriptions of O-Pee-Chee sports card products for 1986.

Baseball

Base Set

In 1986 O-Pee-Chee licenced version of the Topps set. It was basically identical to the Topps set, however it only had 396 cards instead of the 792 in the Topps set and had the Topps branding replaced with O-Pee-Chee branding. The cards were printed on lighter grey cardstock, featured bilingual backs, and some had added traded lines. Player cards had a picture in the middle, the upper 1/4 of the background was black (with the rest being white), the team name appeared across the top, the player name appeared across the bottom, and the player's position appeared in a small circle in the corner of the picture. Manager cards for the Montreal Expos and Toronto Blue Jays were issued, but for no other teams. The Topps logo was covered over with a white box with black outline featuring the O-Pee-Chee logo. Size: 2-1/2 X 3-1/2 in.
