Meridian Primary School is a government school in the Western sector of Pasir Ris, New Town, Singapore. It was established in 2000 and started with 180 pupils in five Primary 1 classes and a staff of eight teachers and five support staff. The school was holding at Coral Primary School for a year and moved to its present premises at Pasir Ris Street 71 on 4 December 2000. The pupil population grew to 624 pupils in 2001.
In 2006, the school’s population was 1566 with Primary 1 and Primary 2 in the pm session. The school functioned as a single-session school from January 2009. The school hours are 7.45am to 1.30pm. The staff strength of 80 comprises 68 teachers and 10 Executive and Administrative Staff (EAS) and 2 teacher-aides.
