Gill Foundation

Gill Foundation

The Gill Foundation is an LGBT organization which provides grants and operating support for nonprofits and community foundations. It was founded by Tim Gill, a software entrepreneur who founded the successful software maker, Quark, Inc. . The annual report listed on their website is an interesting compilation of mostly progressive but both gay and nongay groups. They seem to focus on LGBT causes, but also give to HIV/AIDS groups. The Gill Foundation is one of three components of Gill's giving philosophy. The Gay & Lesbian Fund for Colorado and Gill Action Fund are under the Gill umbrella.
