DVBViewer is a commercial software for personal computers running Microsoft Windows which allows play back and record of digital TV signals. It is capable of expanding its functionality through the use of plugins.

Due to high distribution expenses, the software is only available for download over the homepage of the developer.

The most important customer of DVBViewer is TechniSat Digital GmbH, a german company which manufactures and sells set-top boxes and other appliances. They add a functional limited edition of DVBViewer as enclosure to their products.

According to the developer, DVBViewer the first software to play back H.264/MPEG-4 AVC transmissions live or as scheduled recordings.
