Vyroneia, Vyronia, Vironeia or 'Vironia (Greek: Βυρώνεια, is a Greek town located in the municipality of
Petritsi in the extreme north ofSerres prefecture south of theBulgaria n border. The older name of the town was Hatzibelika. It is situated between the mountains to the north and theStrymon plain to the south. TheStrymon river flows south of the town and Vyroneia located 5 km north of the shores ofKerkini . It is connected with GR-65 (Kilkis - Sidirokastro) and with GR-63 linking Serres and Sofia via Sidirokastro and with Bulgarian Route 1. Vyroneia is located east of LakeDoirani , S ofPetrich ,Bulgaria , W of Sidirokastro and NW of Serres.Geography and Information
