Kregg Lumpkin (born May 15, 1984 in city-state|Lithonia|Georgia) is an American football running back for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League. He was signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at Georgia

College career

Lumpkin played at the University of Georgia from 2003 to 2007. Slowed down by injuries during his sophomore and senior seasons along with sharing carries with Thomas Brown and Danny Ware, Lumpkin rushed for 1,699 yards on 352 carries with 17 total touchdowns (14 rushing, 3 receiving).

Professional career

Green Bay Packers

He was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He made the regular season roster after an impressive training camp. He was on injured reserve on October 11.
