Nurduran Duman (born Çan-Çanakkale, 23 October 1974) is a Turkish poet, writer, essayist, translator.

Life
She wrote her first poem when she was 8 years old. When she was 9, she promised herself she would become a writer in the future. She liked poetry, and so settled on becoming a poet.
Because of her passion for the ocean, she attended Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering and graduated as an Ocean Engineer and a Naval Architect.
She is a member of International PEN. Her poems, translations (poems and stories), poetic articles, book reviews and interviews with foreign writers have been published in various magazines such as Cumhuriyet Kitap, Varlık, Yasakmeyve, Eşik Cini, and Edebiyat ve Eleştiri. She worked on translating the poems of Anne Sexton, Sara Teasdale, Edna St. Vincent Millay and the stories of Mary Woronow, Eileen Gunn, Monica Arac de Nyeko, Anna Tambour, Karen Joy Fowler.[1]
