Anna Tambour

Anna Tambour is the author of the short story collection, "Monterra's Deliciosa & Other Tales &", published in 2005, and the novel "Spotted Lily", also published in 2005.

Locus (magazine) included "Spotted Lily" in its list of recommended reading of works published in 2005.

In 2004, Tambour was shortlisted for a Ditmar Award in the category Best New Talent. (Ditmar Award results)

Her short story "See Here, See There" ("Agog! Ripping Reads", ed. Cat Sparks, published by Agog! Press), was a finalist in the 2006 Aurealis Awards in the Fantasy Short Story category.

Anna Tambour lives in the Australian bush. In addition to writing fiction, she also takes photographs of insects and other wildlife.

She has a strong interest in medlars, which appear in many of her short stories.
