Keith Redmond was born
October 25 , 1972 inRichmond Hill, Ontario and played college hockey forBowling Green University during the 1990-91 and 1991-92 hockey seasons. He also spent part of the 1991-92 season in theOntario Hockey League (OHL) playing for theBelleville Bulls and theDetroit Ambassadors . In addition to his season in the NHL, he spent four seasons with the Phoenix Roadrunners of the International Hockey League. He was a left wing and his playing height and weight were Height|ft=6|in=3 and Convert|208|lb|kg. He was selected by the Kings in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft, being drafted number 79 overall in the fourth round.Redmond acknowledged a problem with alcohol and his hockey career was followed by a successful recovery and a history of helping others in their recovery.Source needed|date=June 2008 Today, he resides in
