Ken Rostad is a former provincial politician from
Alberta ,Canada . He served as a member of theLegislative Assembly of Alberta from 1986 to 1997. During his time in office he served numerous cabinet portfolios in the Alberta provincial government.Political career
Rostad was elected to the Alberta Legislature in the 1986 Alberta general election. He won the Camrose electoral district with a large plurality defeating four other candidates including

He was then moved to serve his first stint as Attorney General.Rostad ran for re-election in the 1989 Alberta general election. Ralph Klein became Premier, he lost his portfolio to St. Albert MLA Dick Fowler onDecember 14 ,1992 . In 1993 the Camrose electoral district was abolished due to redistribution. He served that post until
September 15 ,1994 when he was appointed Minister of Federal and Intergovernmental Affairs. He served that until he retired at dissolution of the Alberta Legislature in 1997.References
