- Bouse Wash
Bouse Wash is one of the larger eastern-bank dry washes that enter the
Colorado River in western Arizona.Bouse Wash is located on the north end of the
La Posa Plain and drains into the area along the Colorado River occupied by theColorado River Indian Reservation , south of Parker, Arizona. The Bouse Wash Drainage is at the north end of the reservation; the "Tyson Wash Drainage" is at the southern end of the reservation, and the Tyson drainage abuts the Bouse drainage on the southwest. The Bouse and Tyson Wash drainages each enter the eastern shore of the Colorado River's "Imperial Reservoir Drainage".Another major distinction of the "Bouse Wash Drainage" is that it forms a
water divide on its east and southeast border. It borders theCentennial Wash Drainage-(of west-central Arizona), which flows southeasterly towards the southwest-flowingGila River . and its confluence with the Gila is adjacent downstream from theHassayampa River flowing south from Prescott and the western and southwestern regions of theBradshaw Mountains .Bouse Wash also shares its name with
Bouse, Arizona which lies on the wash between the Bouse Hills, and thePlomosa Mountains , just east of the La Posa Plain and the Colorado River valley.External links
