Bolesław I the Tall

Bolesław I the Tall (Polish: "Bolesław I Wysoki"; 1127 - December 7 or 8, 1201) was imperial Duke of Silesia, 1163 - 1172.

He was the eldest son of Władysław II the Exile and Agnes of Babenberg. After the partition of the province of Silesia (1173) he became Duke of Wrocław. He lost Głogów (1177 – ca. 1185). He was also Duke of Opole (1201). He was in exile three times (1146-1163, 1172-1173, 1177).
