Elke Erica Weintraub Jeinsen is a German model and actress from Hannover, Germany. Jeinsen was born in Sweden but her family relocated to then West Germany during the first year of her life. Jeinsen was selected as "Playboy" Germany's Playmate of the Month for October 1986, and then as "Playboy"'s Playmate of the Month for May, 1993. Her centerfold was photographed by Arny Freytag. Jeinsen has appeared as centerfold in a record nineteen international editions of "Playboy" magazine. Jeinsen has appeared also in several Playboy videos and special editions, working steadily for "Playboy" for close to twenty years following her initial Playboy Germany centerfold appearance. In fact, in the video titled "Playboy Playmate Erotic Adventures", Jeinsen can be seen nude with other Playboy Playmates and models, some of whom are fifteen years younger than Jeinsen.

During her affiliation with "Playboy" magazine, Jeinsen was also part of the international phenomenon that was "Baywatch". Although she had no speaking parts, no doubt due to her thick German accent, Jeinsen's lithesome physique appeared in many scenes as both a lifeguard, bikini-clad beach goer, distressed swimmer and micro-mini skirted onlooker.

Later in her career, Jeinsen began performing in fetish videos, including bondage, pantyhose, leather and tickle. Also, Jeinsen has had non-sex acting roles in the hardcore adult features "Lost Angels: Nikita Denise" (2002) and "Lost Angels: Michelle Michaels" (2002).

In 2003, Jeinsen became the featured performer of a very promising eye candy project for European audiences with the working title "Elke Jeinsen's Los Angeles". Jeinsen would speak her native language of German to the camera while exploring clubs, restaurants and other entertainment venues in and around the Los Angeles basin, often accompanied by one or more of her friends including Devin DeVasquez, Barbara Moore, Cathy St. George, and Julie Strain. However, this project appears to be dead as Jeinsen left Los Angeles during January 2004, relocating to her home country of Germany for reasons unknown.

In October 2005, Jeinsen resurfaced in a lesbian softcore video titled "Every Man's Fantasy 2" (2005) shot primarily in Costa Rica. In this video, Jeinsen and her scene partner, Kira Eggers, perform simulated cunnilingus on each other. Other adult models and actresses of note performing similar acts in this video include Anita Dark, Nikita Denise, Lorissa McComas, Nikki Nova and Sandra Shine.
