This, above all else, includes providing for the common good in any way possible. The SFOVA gurdwara is located on 7250 Ox Road, Fairfax Station, Virginia. The Sikh Foundation of Virginia (SFOVA) is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, scientific, and educational purposes.
The objectives of SFOVA include but are not limited to:
Propagating the teachings of the ten Sikh Gurus and the present guru Guru Granth Sahib.
Promoting the religious, educational, social, and cultural aspects of Sikhism.
Holding congregations regularly, celebrating Gurpurabs (any of the Guru's birthdays), or any other occasions specifically related to the teachings of the Sikh Gurus and the Guru Granth Sahib.
Coordinating activities with other Sikh institutions in hopes of establishing a more perfect Sikh union.
