HMAS Gladstone (FCPB 216)

HMAS "Gladstone" (FCPB 216) was a Fremantle class patrol boat laid down by the North Queensland Engineers and Agents at Cairns in Queensland on 7 March 1983, launched on 28 July 1984 and commissioned on 8 September 1984. She was named after the port of Gladstone in Queensland. "Gladstone" operated out of HMAS "Cairns" until 13 March 2007, when she decommissioned. She was gifted on the same day to the Gladstone Maritime History Society, which plans to preserve and exhibit her as a land-based display at the Gladstone Maritime Museum.
